Viernes Vivo

Today Alia's 3rd grade class presented poems that they have written about autumn to the school in their Friday assembly. It is in spanish and quiet, but you can see how well her spanish is coming along. It is pretty amazing.

Pumpkin Patch

Ok so this is full of pictures, but the pumpkin patch is so much fun!!

Lots of Roller coaster pictures because this was their favorite. We spent lots of time with Matthew. It was really fun because they wanted to do the same things all the time.

all alone on the Pumpkin ride. I am not sure I am ready for the independance!

Jacob's Preschool teacher, Miss Sheri rode the ride so that I could watch Matthew's baby sister so that his mom could ride this ride. Miss Sheri is so much fun!

Ok, so, this is the shirt that he made at school and brought it home on Tuesday. He insisted he put it on after swimming(part of the preschool program). He wouldn't take it off that night so he slept in it Tuesday night, wore it Wednesday, wouldn't take it off for bed, so slept in it Wednesday night, then wore it to the pumpkin patch Thursday and I finally got it off him that night. Too funny!! Doesn't hurt that Orange is his very favorite color!!

Jacob and Matthew on the rollercoaster

Jacob was facinated by the birds. Goats, sheep ehhh, no biggie, but the birds! He watched the ducks for 15 minutes! Facinating!

Look how tall!

Tractor

On the steam engine! Check out all the steam!

anniversary trip

We went to San Juan Island for our 10th Anniversary. This is at Lime Kiln Park where we spent most of our time hanging out at the ocean and hoping to see whales. We did see whales the first day, but missed them all the other times. But we loved sitting there enjoying nature and each other. It was wonderful!!

The whales were so cool. They were making lots of noise on the hydrophones and they were right there off the shore. I loved this location!!

This is a sea lion that hangs out by the fish monger at the marina in Friday Harbor. Apparently he is blind in one eye and has lived there for many years.

Our anniversary day. Roche Harbor.

America's Next Top Model!!!

I think Tyra would be impressed! Tarin was posing for me today and hurray she has gotten past the awkward smile phase. She was so cute! Pose, change position, pose, change, pose, change, pose...

CAKES!

Cakes

This month has been a very busy cake month!

First - Jacob's Birthday

Then I was comissioned to do a cake for a prize for a Ballet company that is doing the
Little Mermaid. They wanted a prize for the person that sold the most tickets. They were very impressed. Actually, I was too!! It was my first figure that I have made from gumpaste. It was so much fun!!

The same weekend, I did a High School Musical cake for Deneile's Birthday Party. That one was fun as well!! It was a very busy Weekend!

After that I supervised and taught 3 women to do 40ish cupcakes for our enrichment night.

Then Roger's birthday!! I couldn't decide so I looked online and found the perfect cake!!
